Mike Moum: I am a retired civil engineer, originally graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1971 with a major in philosophy and minor in math, and later with a degree in engineering in 1981. I've always been interested in ultimate questions about creation and the universe, and considered myself to be an atheist from early high school until I discovered the Baha'i Faith in the early 1970s. I have since become to believe both intellectually and existentially in the existence of God. One of the fundamental principles of the Faith, and the one that most interests me, is the harmony of science and religion as two complementary ways of exploring and understanding creation. That theme will figure prominently in my blog. My other main interest is the insight that the Baha'i Faith offers on theological and philosophical questions.
